BQI, Group, Inc. is a joint venture between Carmine Pisapia, founder and president of Hawk Residential Construction, Inc., and Alan Resh, founder and president of Arland Community Development. Between them, these two well-respected businessmen have over 60 years of combined experience in the construction industry.

Carmine Pisapia has spent over 30 years in the building industry, working in both the building supply and the residential construction fields. Carmine began his career working for Lowes, Inc, where he quickly moved up the management ranks. By the mid 1980’s, Carmine acquired a building supply company, which he successfully expanded and later sold. Today, Carmine’s latest venture is Hawk Residential Construction, Inc. which was founded in 1999. During recent years, Hawk Residential has been responsible for building some of the highest quality custom and semi-custom homes in the Hampton Roads Area. The company’s success is predicated on attention to detail, excellence in construction, and hands-on supervision.

Twenty-five years ago, Alan Resh, founder and president of Arland Community Development, began developing commercial real estate and residential communities. Over the past decade, the company’s primary focus has been the development of residential communities that offer more than just a place to live. In fact, Arland’s communities are rapidly becoming known for their unique land plan designs, all of which encompass amenities packages, unique entry monuments, and abundant landscaping. Examples of Arland’s comprehensive designs can be seen in communities across Virginia, the Carolinas, and Florida.

BQI, Group, Inc. brings together these two leaders in the development and construction industries to build Bonney’s Quay, a distinctive condominium complex of 57 homes located in the heart of Kempsville in Virginia Beach.
